Cool unreplaceable gaskets

I want to replace the gaskets on my '85 accord's manual transmission but can't find gaskets to replace them. My ideas are to make a new one, Use RTV sealant alone, or to clean old gasket and add use it with the RTV sealant. I know there may be an issue with the attachment of the case to the flywheel housing as the countershaft fits into the flywheel housing and the thickness of the gasket would effect its end play.
