Default Update on Srs light 04 accord

I have an 04 accord, and when I go to start it sometimes it is fine. Meaning the seat belt light will blink and beep till I connect seat belt and the srs light will blink a few times and then go off. Other times I start it and no seat belt light at all present and no beeping of seat belts. And srs light comes on and stays on. Never goes off. Could this all be tied into bad seatbelt buckle ? Or would it be related to srs module?

Get the trouble code read with an OBD-II read/scanner capable of reading Honda ABS/SRS trouble codes, and post the actual trouble code(s). Many times place like Autozone, etc. will read the trouble codes for no charge.

I've seen this same thread somewhere........

61-"X" - drivers seat latch/buckle

92-"X" - pass side - something with the pass side indicator...

I swear I've seen this post or thread in the last few days........didn't even have to look up the codes as I could still remember them

Put a drivers side seatbelt buckle in it...very common failure.

You could try, I wouldn't try and repair any restraint system components. Buckle is cheap enough, and you'll have to remove it from the car to try and fix it anyway...so just put a new one in. Just my .02

Yes, I had the same EXACT symptoms on my 2003, replaced the buckle and it's fixed.
Honda will replace it for free, but not before charging you 100 bucks to "verify" the issue first.
