upper ball joint replacement
2004 Accord Ex
I've got a loose upper ball joint, pass side. I bought just the ball joint, not the whole upper arm, and my question is how hard it is going to press in/out. Will I need a hydraulic press, maybe an OTC press tool, or can I get away with an air hammer? Side question, is the adjustible ball joint a better way to go?

There are OTC type 'C-clamp' tools that would work for that job.
It would save time of removing the entire control arm
Some parts stores loan or rent them.
Be sure to get the circlip off before you try to press the old one out.
Air hammer the old one out, it's trash anyway.
Don't hammer on the back/top of the new ball joint.
