Default V6 vs. 4 cylinder shocks

Are shocks/struts the same for the 2.7l V6 and the 2.2l 4 cylinder? And will placing skunk2 lowering springs on stock shocks be okay?

Usually not - the weight of the v6 vs. the i4 makes them different......at least on the front.

On ebay it says compatible but I dont want to spend the 300 bucks and find out they dont fit. Also thought about putting those lowering springs on see how it rides.

Aftermarket might have the struts the same between the v6 and i4.

Springs are different - or very well should be between the 6 and 4.

The front Monroe Quick Strut part # is the same for both the 4cyl and 6cyl models for my 2006 Coupe. #172123
These did raise the front of the car somewhat over the OEM springs. About 3/4+ inch.
