Venom 400 Performance Control Module
Does anyone have one of these on their Accord? http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku
I have not seen much about computer control modules on the forum so I wanted to throw this out there. I plan on adding an SRI and a header. (I want to keep stock sound so I'll probably keep stock exhaust.) I just wondered if I should consider one of these. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
Oh yeah...this is for my 2000 LX I4.

Haha. I guess maybe I will have to be the Guinea Pig sometime after I have added intake & header. That is, if I feel like gambling with the $300 it costs. I don't think Summit Racing would sell crap parts though. They do have a pretty good reputation to uphold.
It looks pretty freakin cool if it actually works since it says you can switch the thing on and off and you just add it to your stock ECU.
I know lots of people on here say HONDATA is the best. It is just soooo expensive and I would be aftaid of tuning something wrong and screwing something up.

Lol....I would install the ECU upgrade, it's about 1/3 of the price of a 7th gen turbo.

Yeah I'm pretty lazy too. I would probably think long and hard about both options before trying to buy parts topeice together one. Plus when I buy something I want to be able to use it as soon as I get it.
