I guess I assumed they checked the tie rods and balljoints, but I didn't ask.

And the wheels are stock.

They called back today and it goes back to them next Friday so they can bring it to the shop that has the machine.

I'm getting so frustrated over this vibration. They did the road force test on the tires and I drove it home and the vibration was gone, but after the car sat, and I drove it cold again the vibration is back. I called the dealer, had to go back again, this is the 4th time. When I talked to him on the phone a week ago he said they'd had to put some new tires on and that he'd get some ordered. I was under the impression that the tires were going to go on today while it was at the shop. I called to check on it, and they said yes in fact it was the tires, but he had to get it cleared with the DSM to get the tires, and then they had to go through the tire company to get it covered since the tires were defective. It's just getting so old. I've had the car 3 1/2 months, I have every other Friday off, and since I've had it I've had it in my posession about one Friday I had off. And to top it all off, at 800 miles I had a stone come up and crack my windshield, got it replaced. And then two weeks ago, at about 2100 miles another stone came up and hit the windshield and cracked it, that's where my car is going to spend tomorrow, having another windshield put it. I should just trade the car in for something else now before I drive myself insane.

Your car is under warranty - take it to the dealership immediately and let them bang their heads on the table and fix it. It shouldn't happen in a new vehicle. Is it possible the wheel place you're going to is mis-balancing their tires? Their machine could be broken or misaligned. Happened to me a few years ago. I had them use another balancing machine and it was fine.

I haven't been taking it to a tire place, I've been taking it to the Honda dealership I bought it from, they sublet it out one of the 4 times it's been there to have the tires checked. They did order 4 new tires for me today, so we shall see.

OK, so they put 4 new tires on. It was good for about a week, and then it got "cold" outside. Cold being around 65 degrees, as soon as it got down to that the vibration came back. Now it's there again, all the time, worse for the first couples miles. It's been back to the dealership 5 times for this. I'm sick of dealing with it. I haven't called the dealership back yet to let them know. Should I call Honda first?? This is getting ridiculous, I just hit 3,000 miles.

Thanks,
Janice
