is this a guy doing the job on the side ?? $ 300 for a t-belt is way, way way , too cheap,,what parts is he going to use ???? the seals he might be talking about are the crank and the balancer shaft seal, But if i were you i would also replace the water pump, cam seal, rear shaft housing seal, alt., p/s belts ( unless belts are like new) .
. Also make sure that he installs the retainer on the balancer shaft seal

If I were you, I'd have these guys do the injectors.

$300 is a good price

Depending on where you live also, the Injector Guru is in Indiana.

Plugs with oil on them should get a set of wires also but if you are strapped then clean them up very good and pray. That is way too low for a real timing belt job with water pump, coolant system flush, all the seals including an entire valve cover gasket kit, idler pulley and tensioner pulley and external belts unless they are fairly new as mentioned. This guys labor is cheap, thats nice, but spend the extra money and get the extra (normal) parts for this job, you dont want to go in there twice, it should last about 100,000 miles. Another oil leak will bring it down to 60,000 miles.

A proper injector cleaning requires special steps, send them in while the belt is getting done. I still dont see a misfire shaking the car as bad as you make it sound unless its running on one and a half cylinders????

Ok cool. I'll check out my car tomorrow and have him do my t-belt next week. I'm sure hes not going to change all the seals for the crank, cam etc, but I will ask him to. Since you guys said 300 is way way way too cheap, I wouldn't mind if he asked for more. How much does that normally cost to fix everything like you guys said? Oh I won't change the alt and p/s belts because those are brand new.

I live in Los Angeles, CA.

I believe it's normally around $600 with an oil pump and tensioner pully. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
