Default Water Pipe

Is there a way to change the pipe, that leads from the Tstat housing to the water pump, without removing the intake apparatus? The present pipe is rusted at the T stat end and i'm afraid it might extend to the pump end. Thanks

Sure. Just take off the thermostat housing and the small hoses that connect to the pipe. That's on an F22B2...your sig shows F20B2; if it's had an engine swap then IDK...

It looks possible, but not easy as all work will need to be done from underneath. You may need to drop the intake manifold brace for access. Make sure the car is securely supported on ramps on front end. You may not need to lift rear end.

good luck

This sounds more like it. I'm going to try a little hondabond first, and if that doesn't work I'll give texas's method a shot

You could remove the intake manifold, if you find it too difficult w/ manifold in place.

I've removed intake manifold for a cylinder head repair and it''s not terrible. You have to go underneath to release manifold brace and some wiring harnesses bolted to underside of manifold. There's one mainifold retaining nut on passenger side that is tough to access.

good luck
