Default Weird problem, hard to explain!

97 Accord with JDM F23 swap. When I'm on the highway say going 60mph, and I floor it. The rpms will go to like 5 and it will feel like the engine literally isn't going anywhere! This never happened on my old F22. I was always able to floor it on the freeway and gain speed fast, but I can only give like 3/4 throttle on my F23 before it will lose power. Is this actually even a problem or what? I really don't know what to think because It's never happened before.

Is this behavior something new with the F23 engine, or has this been happening the whole time you had the F23 engine?

What ECU are you using? Have you checked for engine codes?

This has been happening with the engine since I got it back from the shop. I'm currently using the P0J-L61 ECU. I haven't actually had the system scanned, but there's no check engine light.

X2. Why back to the P0J? Last we heard:

P0J = no VTEC = no top end.

Oh wow I'm sorry I confused myself! I AM using the P0H VTEC ecu. Vtec pops, but if I do a gear drop, the engine loses all power.

I did watch the video. Is the the trans downshifting from D4 to D3 during the video?

Repeating PAhonda's question: From previous posts you indicated that the car was running well at higher RPMs. Did something change? Did it run well after installing the P0H and then sometime later start running poorly?

Any CELs?

I watched the video. I'm not an authority on these engines, but I have one clarifying question -- if you drive it in a lower gear do you get any more engine power above 4500 rpms, or does it still top out there?
