Hi all,

My father is going to pass on his 06 Accord to me (I am selling my 02 if anyone is interested). He has meticulously maintained it through Honda, then a local shop since he bought it new 130k ago; the mechanic he uses has offered to buy it several times from him, commenting on the excellent shape it is in. It was a Chicago car for two years and has been a desert rat in Arizona since, mostly highway miles. Given that, when I do get it is there anything I should look out for or replace or are there any common weak points in these cars?

Pretty reliable cars IMO. I had an 07 Accord until my daughter totaled it. Nothing but normal maintenance; oil, filters, tires, brakes.
