Default wierd noise from the brakes

i have an 03 EX 4cyl and ive noticed some wierd noise coming from the brakes. i almost sounds like something is scrapping against the rotors, and idk if i just need new brake pads or if something bigger is wrong. i kno this sounds stupid but it doesnt really sound like just worn brakes pads bcuz i kno that sound! lol

There is a "squealer" tab on the inside pad that rubs against the rotor when the pads wear down to min spec.

I just had this problem with the fronts and found a shim that is glued on the caliper side of the outter pads had dislodged and was rubbing on the rotors of both sides.

I reglued it and hope the problem is solved but I can't figure out why it even happened unless the installer failed to relieve the piston and did it while sliding the caliper back on.

Remove the wheel and you should be able to see it if this is the culprit.
