I recently bought a 2005 Honda Accord LX and wanted to buy some EX rims but they are 16" and mine are 15". I know the tires wont fit on the rims but will the EX rims and tires fit on the LX with 15" tires and not cause any problems are clearance issues?

If you stick with the OEM tire size for the EX, then you should be set.

There are tire size calculators that you can quickly find through a web searc. You can enter in the tire size for your LX and for the EX to compare the different width, diameter, circumference between the two tires.

I would expect that they will be pretty close in size.

The rims for the LX are 15" and takes a 205/65 R15.
So for an EX 16" rim you would need to use something like 205/60 R16.
The lower aspect ratio ( 60 vs 65 ) will compensate for the larger 16" rim....keeping the wheel size close to the original.
