windshield fogging horribly
 

ok i have an 03 accord coupe which Ive had for about 2 months. Lately before going to school the windows have fogged where i cant see a thing. Ive tried defrosting with a/c, then without a/c but it will just get worse. The temp is around 80 outside but in the day it dissappears with the heat i guess. Ive put new whipers and everything. Any suggestions? thanks. I couldnt see out the back so i nailed my trashcan this morning. ha

Make sure you have air on recirculate w/ AC on. This will allow drier air for AC, but is worse if AC is not used. W/o ac use fresh air for defrost. You could have something on the outside or inside causing fogging. I would clean inside and outside w/ a good window cleaner.

And make sure that it's fogging up on the inside of the windshield. I remember a rental car fogging up on the outside of the windshield once. It started fogging up so I turned the defroster on but it didn't help at all and seems to be getting worse. Then I noticed that it was on the outside and just turned on my wipers.

If the heater core is leaking, that can cause windows to fog terribly.
