Xenon HID kit issues - i dont get it
So i just installed a set of xenon hids in my 96'. Everything was good, i had to plug the ballast into my factory harness backwards to reverse the polarity in order to get power. Thought it was odd but they worked. I had no instructions so i got on xenons website. Anyways everything was workin and while i was adjusting the lights (i also installed new jdm black housings) the right hid just turned off. Now both will turn off all the sudden. Sometimes the left sometimes the right. Sometimes they turn back on sometimes they dont. Bulbs are good. Any ideas???? Hids are new ta me. Thanks.

I don't have much experience with aftermarket HIDs; but, is this a 35 watt plug and play or the 55 watt version which may require separate ground and a positive cable and even include installation of a relay?
Usually, the problems come from the 55 watt versions. Some people are able to resolve by checking the wiring and connections, some are not and end up buying a different brand (even though practically everyone of the aftermarket HIDs are made in China).

Its a 35 watt setup. I let the car sit with the lights off for about 20 mins and came back out n turned them on and their working fine now. All the connections are good too. Ive checked them numerous times. Kinda odd. Thanks for the info too.
