How come every spam post I report never gets deleted?

What is the reason for the report post feature if nothing happens when it is used?

 

I delete posts when I see them. I don't see spam reports when I ask for New Posts. I will check your posts.

I just deleted a couple of posts to youtube links. Perhaps thats what you saw.

I think SPAM reports go to the email that you've registered with (moderators, that is). So Texas, if that address is obsolete, or you no longer read THAT email, then you don't see them.

Lately I've been so busy at work I probably haven't logged on for 2 months... I used to delete dozens at a time. I wish newbies would be unable to post links until they've been around awhile. Or maybe there would still be SPAM. It can get frustrating.

 

My email address has never changed. I've never seen a spam report except when someone PM's me about a particular post.

Well, I just sent you an email through the blind email thingie. For me, that's the same way I get spam-notifications.

 

TH - I think that you have to edit options under your user CP to allow certain emails to be sent to your account.

 

there have been spam posts about tires and oil annd crap like that.

No it's posted topics. Like from nitto tires or royal purple ect
