Hi

My 2005 Accord sedan is acting up on me. Last week while I was on the freeway, the gas pedal would not respond and eventually the car stalled. I was lucky enough to be able to pull off the freeway before it came to a complete stop. I then turned off the car and turned it back on. It would not turn on. I waited for about 2-3 minutes and turned it on and it started again. I drove for another 4-5 miles and it happened again. This time, I pulled off, turned off the car and waited for a few minutes then turned it back on with the A/C off. I was able to make it back home -- a 15-mile drive -- without further incident. Could the A/C have caused the problem? Btw, it's a 2005 Accord sedan, V6 with Navi.

Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

get your trans checked out.....and also your fly by wire system (there is no throttle cable on that car)
