does anyone know if they make a cai for a 03 honda accord with the maf sensor?

 

are you sure your 2003 accord has a MAF sensor? i was wondering myself a month ago wen i was searching for a intake my my 2003 accord. turned out i dont have a MAF and to tell you a truth, i dont remember coming across any intake for an 2003 accord with MAF. maybe the 2003 years dont have MAF sensor but i know a 2004 would have one.

 

im actually doing this research for my boss. from what he told me he had the guys from injen put in an intake for that model and they tried it out but after passing 50(might b 15 not sure) mph the car would shut off. he told me that it had something to do with the sensor.

 

fujita is the only cai with a maf, i recomend it, as for short ram injen and aem have the maf ones also , along with sri fujita. i have a fujita cai with maf.

 

if you have that clip thing on the air filter thats the maf.

 

i cant seem to find one though that specifically says for the 03 accord lx 4 cylinder automatic transmission

 

its not going to say all that itll say most of the time"03-05 4cyl accord."
if you have a maf like i fujita is the only way you can go, other than that on ebay aem says 03-04 accord 4 cyl.

 

it doesnt matter ifyou have a auto or a 5 speed.

03accordlx, see if you have that MAF on your intake, just like the picture. cuz honestly i dont think 2003 models have a maf. when i was shopping for an intake a month ago, i ran across of nothing but "03 accord intake without MAF"..

 

would explain why fujita's maf cai says 04-06 not 03.
