Talking 2003 ex v6

I have a 2003 Honda Accord EX V6 Automatic. I am looking into getting a Cold Air Intake, but wanted the best bang for my buck. I only want to do this once, and have good equipment. I'm not looking to make this thing blow down the 1/4 mile, but I want something that looks good, sounds good, and performs good. I am new to the Honda world, so my knowledge about tuning cars is minimal. I'm not looking into making this into a rice burner with a park bench on the back. I want my car to look clean, and be a future sleeper.

Any help would be appreciated to this newbie.

My 03 accord has a 40$ ebay air intake, and it out lasted my friends K&N (279$) intake. In my opinion there all the same, watch out tho. CAIs on the 03 accord V6 are a bpain to put in. You have to take your splash guard and tire off, took me a full day and I ended up cutting a bolt because I got fed up and didnt want to deal with it anyone :P

wow took you all day just to install? Cb7s are a pin to install them and only takes like 30min at most and you have to take a hack saw and make the hole bigger going into the fender well. All the same steps as you had o do plus cutting...

To take the stock intake out on a 03 V6 it runs under a bar that holds in rad in. Its a much bigger job than any other car I've ever seen. But it makes a huge difference as the filter is now sitting down almost at bumper level. But yea, about 4 hours of fighting to take out the old intake, changing the breather tube and one of the coolant lines have to be changed, then putting the battery back in, splash guard and fender liner back in, and the tire back on. Its a quick easy job on a 4 banger but a bit of a task in a V6.
