7th Gen V6 exhaust question
I have 7th Gen V6 sedan.
I used to have Magnaflow cat-back but it was a little TOO loud and when cruising highway, it was very very annoying.
So I went back to stock and Magnaflow is just sitting in my house...
Does anyone tried or have anything else?
how about the one from Mugen?
Can you even get it in US, and if you can how much and how's the sound?
And 03-05 sedans have bent tip so you can't really see the exhaust...someone asked why I took my exhaust off when I had magnaflow...cuz they couldn't see and it was loud...haha
Can you use ones for coupe if I get the bumper cut or put aftermarket bumper?
Are they the same size and everything except the tips?
p.s. let me know if anyone is interested buying magnaflow for your V6 sedan...
It sounds awesome, only thing I hated was that I had to hear the constant noise while cruizing70~75mph...somewhere between 2000rpm and 3000rpm is the loudest...you pass that, CAI takes over...so it was quieter going 80mph and over...

RE: 7th Gen V6 exhaust question
Well I've enjoyed my GReddy SP2.
It's not too loud, and when I cruise at 2000-3000 rpm it's just a small rumble in the back; something you can overlook easily. Give it gas and you'll hear it growl up some, but nothing too loud or raspy.
My CAI is louder than my catback easily.

RE: 7th Gen V6 exhaust question
I have a WS2 setup. I got it because it was the quietest performance exhaust that I could find. It is very similar in design to the SP2. What model did you have that was too loud?

RE: 7th Gen V6 exhaust question
Does Greddy make one for 03-05 V6 Sedan?
There were only a couple I could find for V6 Sedan (with bent down tips)
The Magnaflow cat-back I have doesn't really have a name I think...they only make one for Accord V6 Sedan.

maybe i should get custom pipes?
could I keep the magnaflow mid-pipe and maybe put the SP2 mufflers???

I think it might be worthwhile to call up GReddy and see if they fit on the 7th gen. for your v6... what year are we talkin?
