Default AEM intake question for my 91 EX

I have a 91 EX sedan 5 speed and picked up a used AEM CAI, full length and I have a question on a vacuum line. The stock airbox had a #8 vacuum line running to a flapper/valve going through the fender and the CAI I bought has nothing to attach this to. Do you guys have any suggestions of what to do? I just plugged it off for now.
Thanks
Jason

I have no idea... never had that issue... all I can say is that if it runs fine without it don't worry... however if you have some issues passing your emissions test you may want to reconnect it somehow...

No more emmissions here! Seems to run just fine from what I can tell. The #8 hose runs to the passenger side fenderwell to a box with an electrical connection to it. The hose goes to the stock air box and to the valve/flapper and my guess is it's some type of valve that opens under harder acceleration to allow more airflow. Then again, I have no clue either!

try taking a picture of it and post the photo for a better idea... show where it connected to on the airbox and where it goes on the engine/intake...
