AEM V2 intake

AEM V2 intake
This is one of the many intakes I've been researching for my '04 Honda Accord V6. It's never clear whether this is a CAI or SRI I've gone through at least twenty different websites, some describe it as a CAI others describe it as a SRI, one even calls it both (which seems really counterintuitive to me). So if anyone could help me out in finding out whether it's a CAI or SRI that'd be great. Thanks

Aem intake v-6
I think it could be both. But anyway..I just bought and installed a AEM Cold air Intake from JC Whitney on sale for $164.00 plus free shipping. The install is all about removing the factory box, the rest is easy. Perfect fit and I love it. I can't keep my foot out of it!

Congrats on the install, I'm thinking about getting a new intake. I'm just running stock right now... But you cant keep your foot off it because its sounds so sick right? there isn't really any performance boost you noticed right?

Aem intake
Are you kidding? The answer to both is NOT! I'm very happy with the product.

ummm maybe for the v6 it doesn’t break down into 2 pieces. But for the ORIGNAL V2 for h22's and such YES IT IS BOTH!
My boy is using the top V2 so yes it breaks down into a SRI as well as a CAI. He has to break it down when it rains b/c he don’t have a bypass valve. Thank you come again
*EDIT* also plz send me the link for the AEM v2 for the price you stated ^^^^...I have yet to see them for under $300

According to the K&N site the intake would add around 4 horsepower... whats that going to feel like?
