Default anti-theft code needed.

hey guys, I just bought the AEM V2 CAI. I know that I need to unplug the battery to reset the ECU after the installation. I bought by car as an used car one years ago. It came with an alpine cda-9813.

Does anyone have an idea that if I need the anti - theft code for that or not? and if I do, where can I get the anti - theft code since I bought the car as an used car that didn't come with the manual for the alpine.

I have a 2002 accord V6.
I will share some picutre once I put it on!

I don't believe that it requires a code.... if it does the only place you could probably get it is from an alpine dealer or alpine themselves....

It sounds like you are reading the instructions that came with the V2, they are referring to the stock head units that require the anit-theft codes to get the radio back up and running again. I don't believe that the Alpine needs this but if it does it is going to be hard as hell trying to get Alpine to get you the right code.
