i agree with buying cheap, but you should always question when something is 1/20th the price.

thats a dc sports "style" header, and if you compare that picture to a real dc sports, your realize that they look nothing alike. in general....usually......longer primaries results in smoother exhaust pulses which yields more hp. those are some of the shortest primaries i have ever seen

Also , doesn't it make you wonder why the parts are 60% cheaper than the best deal that you can't buy anywhere's else.

Ive seen parts for sale that are cheaper than what I can buy them for from the same company that I buy them from...

Agreed, it says DC-S NOT DC Sports. I'd not buy them myself, too risky.

excellent question.....and not a simple one either. im glad you asked it..

the primaries are the primary or first tubes that come out the engine. see how there are 4 then 2 and then one pipe. well the primaries are the 4 tubes coming out the engine. there are four primaries in that header.

usually the longer those tubes are, the more lined up the pulses are, so when it comes to the collector (which is the point where it goes from 4 to 2 OR from 2 to 1) its easier to time them.

now exhaust manifolds are like intakes when were talking about sound. they only work best at a certain rpm range.
