Black tip...

RE: Black tip...
I have never seen them.... I'm sure you could do it yourself pretty easily with some high temp black rustoleum but there is enough rocks flying at it from the road that I'm sure it'd do some chiping...

RE: Black tip...
I might buy the tip i saw at O'Reily's. Its only a few bucks, worth to see how long it last. Better then spending big bucks on something i dont really want.
My tip now looks kinda cool. Its chrome, or fake-chrome, and it has a black line on just the bottom part from the fumes. Looks like it was painted on there. Thats wat gave me the idea of having a whole black tip!

RE: Black tip...
I ended up buying the darn black tip...
When i get home...i "try" to unscrew the current tip...
For hours out in the sun and...for my little sister to walk outside, look for 5 seconds, and tell me tht the tip is welded onto the muffler.
And she is very right. Instead of a clamp, they used sumtin else, looks nice, but now i cant get my black tip.
Is it smart to grind the welded part off? It could leave a hole in the muffler. Would tht cause any problems?
Im not even tht excited about it anymore...still think it would look sweet!
