No, the chamber is still there but I removed the tube in front of the Bomz filter since taking the pick.

hey, i need a really short filter for my turbine, i have no space to get the normal one. i need one about 3-4 in tall.max

It sounds a tad sweeter with the resonater completely removed, but it's a pain if you want to go back to stock and reinstall it. Your call.

Pardon my ignorance, but I don't follow your first sentence. How would this affect the sound if nothing is connected to it?

Doesn't really matter as I plan to leave it in the car for the reason you stated.

Air flows more freely into the engine bay...instead of being restricted to a plastic chamber.
