Default CATLESS?

HEY I HAVE AN 06 ACCORD V6 6-SPEED AND IM LOOKING TO UPGRADE THE EXHAUST. I AM THINKIN OF PUTTING DUAL APEXi n1 MUFFLERS AND REMOVING THE RESONATOR AND THE CAT. WILL I RUIN MY CAR IF I TAKE OFF THE CAT? WHAT PROBLEMS WILL HAPPEN?

mmmm little devious arnt you. its a damn good idea though. no you wont ruin anything on your car. there is that little pesky o2 sensor after your cat that will know immediately that you took it off and will brightly ignite the check engine light in your car. there is a way that can be reprogrammed though.

oh how do i reprogram it. I heard that you can reset the ECU of the car.. is this possible?

Removing the Cat is a federal offense! You might consider a high flow/performance cat instead.

correct me if im wrong, but modified muffler is a citation ticket not a fix it ticket, is that right???

When you remove ur cat, ur car will smell like a oil refinery because all the unburnt gas goes straight out
but dont put a highflow cat on, just buy a genuine v8 one they do the same job for half the price and u wont
have the cops on ur rearend.

HP= constant times torque times rpm. you will move the torque to a different place.

I saw on DCS website like a special racing headers that connect strait to the pipes leading to the muffler, it said it will give ur car more *****, but 100% illegal.
