Default Cheap Headers? Gain or Loss?

I'm thinking about getting a header for my four cylinder accord, should i buy a cheap one off ebay? or spend an extra couple hundred and get a name brand? Does the cheap one affect horsepower??

You usually get what you pay for. But still, eBay isn't a BRAND. It's whatever the seller happens to be selling. IF he's telling the truth...

If you go cheap, the welds are likely to be crappy, the headers may not quite fit properly, and the alloy could be easily corrosive. Not only that, but most of the time, you'll not be able to return the item for a refund.

The best headers out there for the Accord in my opinion is DC Sport. I installed a ceramic header from them and love the gains. great sound with other Mods, including cat back and V2 Intake from AEM.

Depends on what year accord 90-93 your better off with OE f22a4 header it out performs most of your cheaper (dc sport/megan racing ect.) headers. If you have the money bisi is the way to go....it's like $600-700 for a custom header but it yields the BEST gains on stock engines you can get. I think it gains 26hp just by the header swap alone on a full OE engine.

Yeah for the 4 the f22a...you can pick one up @ the pnp for like 30bucks.

Make sure you check your welds after about 500miles see if they are leaking. Sometimes they look good when 1st got it but they change from heat.
