I beg to differ with you guys there is As least one good use for Glasspacks or cherrybomb mufflers they make nice replacement resonators .
AccordKid Not sure if you want to keep things Quiet or louder And nor sure what motor you have but my 87 has a 2.0 4 banger in it I converted the exhaust to 2 in from the header back with a 2in slipfit Catalytic converter going into a glasspack (in place of the resonator ) then into a universal muffler has a nice mellow note to it in the car to people on the side walk just a touch louder then the factory exhaust.
before I put the muffler on I tried just putting a pacesetter monza tip on the tail pipe sounded pretty good but the gas milage suffered bad after I put muffer in and eliminater the monza tip Current averages 30-36 MPG on the highway and 18-22 in town hope this helps

The glasspack was MUCH louder than the flowmaster, the camera made the flowmaster sound louder. Please comment which you like better.

I agree with demon... my setup is obx header, no cat, glasspack turned around backwards, flowmaster dual outlet 40 series... 2.5 in pipe whole system including muffler... this is an old school trick though and requires someone who is good at making bends... excluding the muffler and header, i got charged 75 bucks for a one of a kind exhaust system. It sounds very deep and takes all the rice farting noise away...

I wouldnt however to attempt to put just a cherrybomb or glasspack on your car... it would be so loud... thats all i can say it would be LOUD... (and raspy)
