if your on a budget, go to home depot and buy a bunch of PVC pipe and fittings. diy CAI right there! (im not joking... diy stuff is cool...)

well i was just going to the same place i got my exhaust done and have them fit a pipe that will fit and then geta filter and fit that on aswell.... PVC lol......

i've seen PVC intakes, and even some made of pringles cans or air-duct materials...

as for the header, i'm sure that'd be way too hot and melt the pvc eventually.

ackimoto is supposidy the only one for a cold air intake for the v6. I'm having issues finding one myself.

most of the kits I've looked at on the bay are only a warm air intake.

I've only found one dealer in regards to a true cold air kit for the v6 accords and that is akimoto.

I priced it out and they are around $289.

I told the wife about it she said we I guess I have to save my pennies since I want it.

I thought that owning a v6 accord would be easy.

This is the 3rd car that I own that is a bitch for getting parts.
