eBay with top brand filter, not the one that comes with it.

Same question for an 01? AEM, K&N, any preference. Also, do I need to worry about moisture and is there an ideal place to bolt it if so?

If you get a name brand intake, it will have a bar to mount it to the fender. eBay... probably not. Same filters as mentioned before. If you dont drive through huge puddles you have nothing to worry about.

^ Oh come on... you could drop the $50 on an eBay and at least get something that looks decent.
