Lol or so I've heard. I just wouldnt know what i was doing if i got that setup. I'm new to this and i just bought the intake. I'll let this one go but for the future i will consult you guys for cheaper alternatives [sm=icon_rock.gif]

Awesome response man. Thanks! I was leaning toward a SRI anyway... Injen or AEM? What does the maintenance on a SRI require? I heard something about synthetic oil instead of conventional?
oil? are you talking about the filter? well i know if you have gotten the AEM with the dryflow filter, it doesn't need to be oiled..not to sure about the injen one

The AEM dryflow doesnt need to be oiled, but you still have to add aem filter cleaning solution to the water to clean it. Id rather just buy another filter than attempt to clean it. My friend has an expensive injen filter that needs to be oiled and it is gaurenteed to last for life or esle you get a new replacement one. Its like 10x heaver than the aem dryflow one lol.

I dont trust the concept behind dryflow. Im going to stick to oiled gauze.
