Thunder look at the link that you put in there from bosch and it answers your own questions, but thanks for asking anyways...

Just my two cents, but I wouldn't replace them unless the check engine light came on or I noticed some serious mileage loss.

I think cleaning them though would probably be a good idea.

Let's try this subject for everyone:
Oxygen Sensor Replacement if:
If your experiencing the following systems with your ride:
Hesitation when you try to get going-
Black sooty exhaust-
Gas oder while your engine is running-
Power Loss while driving or going up hills (also caused by dirty fuel filter) -
and of Course: Excessive fuel consumption-

All good reasond to replace your Oxygen Sensor(s)
And of course , if your check engine light comes on.

The Function of your Oxygen Sensor(s) is to Help your engine maintain an optimal Air/Fuel ratio, so as to Maxim Efficency for Optimal Gas Mileage.

O2 sensors will affect gas milage if they are not working properly. The newer sensors last a lot longer than the older ones did. both of my cars still have original sensors and still get awesome gas milage......use OEM HONDA ONLY as many people have reported problems with CEL light coming back on a short time later with other brands.
