RE: Double CAI
Why 2? And go with AEM.
[hr]First of all, you have no need for a dual intake because your car does not require tons of air, but if you want one, then you go right ahead with your welding machine and custom mod your throttle body to accept 2 intakes. Second of all, my personal opinion is to go with AEM. They're a common name brand and are known for their performance increases. For a cold air intake, all you really need is a good filter, perhaps a K&N or AEM one will do. As for installation, removing yoru old intake and putting the new one on should take no more than 15 minutes. Just remember, quality, not quantity. |
RE: Double CAI
i dont even need 2 on my v6, one will sound better

RE: Double CAI
2? that doesnt even make sense. Unless you have a G35 or 350z with dual throttle bodies.

RE: Double CAI
Dont forget to top of your blinker fluid and inspect the power bands while youre at it!

RE: Double CAI
All jokes aside LXmaster, try to do a bit of research before this bizzare topic pops up again,In order to have two intakes period,a vehicle must have to TBs. The closest thing to that will be to get Individual TBs which i believe are not even made for the 6th gen.

RE: Double CAI
Where the air combines, whether you build 2 TB's or Y the pipes first, there will be a pressure drop. I'd expect that to be greater than the increased pressure drop of a single pipe, so 2 CAI's will result in less power than 1. They should be a little quieter, but not too much.
