Those look like ok mufflers but they are just 2 universal mufflers put into a package deal. The V6 with any muffler comes with a decent growl and any muffler is going to help this but if the quality is crap and the materials inside get tired, you're going to get raspy. I think that someone got magnaflows on here for their v6 and really like the sound... Also, I'm not too familiar with the v6 but you might want to look into the mufflers that you have on there to see if they have any hangers on them. I perseonally would not buy any muffler that did not have the proper hanger on it. The last thing you want is your exhaust swinging around and clanking and tearing up your stock hangers on the rest of the system.

I agree with Slusher. If you dont want the cat back exhaust then see if there are any axleback mufflers available. If neither work, and you buy the universal mufflers at least have a shop like Midas weld on some hangers to make it work and last longer. Good Luck!

As far as the sound, I hear good things of the evo2 and then I have the WS2. The greddy evo2 is all stainless steel, a little louder, and roughly 100 dollars more. The Apexi WS2 is mildsteel from the cat to the axle back, which is titanium powder coated, then the muffler is stainless steel. The WS2 is fairly quite in comparison to other exhausts. Both of these exhausts should produce the deep tone your looking for. I personally chose the WS2 because I hear it when I'm accelerating, but when I have my radio on and I'm at cruising speed I don't have to listen to that exhaust drone in the background. Since you have a V6, you shouldn't be too disappointed in any exhaust that you buy, provided you don't get too inexpensive of a cat back.

I think that if you are looking for good quality and a little cheaper, I would look at OBX. I have a header from them and it looks terrific. Ok, I have yet to install it ...still. But the quality of welds and material are outstanding. I'm not sure what they offer for mufflers but the material inside should be pretty damn good.

This will give you an idea. Once again there are a lot of universal type mufflers but you already have a plan for that. I think that your car would look really cool with two 2 outlet mufflers, that quad pipe look, but to each his own.
OBX's home page is currently under construction so nothing is available to see, here it is anyway:

Hope this helps.
