Are f22 and h22 parts interchangeable?

Default Are f22 and h22 parts interchangeable?

I plan on getting an H22 for my 91 LX. I'm not getting it anytime soon, so I was wondering if I got some upgrades for my F22A1, like headers, CAI or SRI, exhaust, ect. would they be usable after I drop in the H22.

Intake would, header I don't think works, exhaust may need some modding.

What about ecu? I'm in a similiar boat where I'm going to swap my engine out in a while (2 years??) but I wanted a little more umph for the time being. If I put an S100, an intake and cat back system in my accord... wouldn't they all be able to be switched to the new motor. The later two have already been established as a yes, but the ecu, can I just retune it?
Thanks

Depends what ecu, and tuning a near stock f22b1 is just a waste of time and money.

The Hondata will work, they will just have to burn a stock H22 base map on it, which they should have at the shop. Waste of money, IMO.

So rice, you're saying stick to suspension, wheel ect upgrades and get the engine later.

good idea, since most engine mods you do now will be useless if you swap engines. plus that should help you get the hp to the road when you swap in a h22

a mediocre car with good handling will often beat a fast car with crappy handling
