I have been looking into the flowmaster American thunder kit for my 95 EX, even though it is not the full cat-back system. I don't want a real loud exhaust or one the muffler is so large as to attract attention. Does anyone have this system? Happy with it? Easy install? Maybe a little more power?

flowmaster is probably the BEST EXHAUST on the import market , it definitely has power gains, and quick acceleration, its doesnt have that big buzz like h and k or skunk 2 because its an american product since most import parts are japanese and such... i had it on my honda i changed it though cus it started to sound raspy, at first when i got it it was very quiet but u could feel the difference in power and acceleration.

 

Nice to hear that it sounded good. What do you mean raspy? Did it start with a nice deep tone and then get higher pitched? I appreciate your advice becuase from what you described it is the sound and performance that I'm looking for. What did you get to replace it? Just as good and nice sound too?
