back fire.... that's how it's called... means a cylinder got out of timing and fuel did not burn completely and the valves opened before they weresupposed to. Meaning that the explotion continues through the piping. Excess nitrous makes the same reaction. (Now we can keep talking about dictionaries)

Buddy, there are so many types of dictionaries out there it's not even funny. I was just trying to show you that there are multiple definitions for the same word. Both dictionary.com and yourdictionary.com are reliable, legitimate, trustworthy sites. Just because you hadn't seen that definition of the word does not automatically make it wrong because it didn't appear on your website.
