Hey my name is Hovig i just joined this site. i drive a 2001 honda accord V6 coupe 3.0 vtech engine. i love my cars performance and driving. i installed a K & N intake to my car and it really does make a difference in performance(especially sound lol) I am looking for help on whats the best exhaust system i can get for my ride. any help would be greatly appreciatted! i am debating between JDM and magnaflow. yes i know i know magnaflow is the name brand and is supposebly better, but it is also about $500 more expensive. any input would be appreciatted on performance differences for these two exhausts Thanks!

 

glad to have you on the forums Hovig . Sounds like youre on the right track in performance for your car.

Now about the exhaust. I know that magnaflow is expensive but it is definitely your best bet if youre set on getting that particular one. the ebay/JDM exhausts are kinda junky and you never know what youre gonna get quality wise.

you can also go the route of finding the mufflers you like the best and have a shop custom make an exhaust for you. check out flowmasters. I have heard some v6 accords sound really good with those.

 

i appreciate the advise! has any1 on here actually changed there exhaust system to a jdm magnaflow or bbp ? i wanted to know how you feel about it and if you regret/ love your decision. this is for 98-02 v6 honda accord coupe thanks guys!

 

ive good a 3.5L v6 i-vtec and i can't say enough good things about magnaflow. great sound, awesome performance, and its amazing quality.

hey guys thanks for all the advice i just purchased the magnaflow exhaust system for my car and got it today. i will be installing it in february sincei m leaving for florida in 2 days. i will let you know how it goes thakns again!
