To me it's a coin toss as to which one. The thing that would sway me to the AEM is the dryflow filter. It's easier to maintain and no oiling is required.

To go along with that though, if you check the specs on the K&N one you may be able to find an AEM replacement

Problem here is the V2 is in another class than the typhoon, if he is considering the typhoon then a suitable comparison is the normal CAI that AEM offers.

Go with the V2. No oiling when cleaning the filter, plus IMO it is an overall better built intake.

Go with AEM. IN my opinion i like there filters better. Also youll prbolby feel biiger gain from the headers then intake.

The V2 is supposed to be pretty hot stuff, but you cant use a bypass valve with it. Something to think about if you live in a rainy climate or one where the street drainage sucks.

I have the V2 on my 99 accord and it looks and sounds awesome. You can hear the thing sucking in air like crazy. It whistles when around 2200 RPMs. Very cool. I would definately recommend it.

i do wanna get the aem v2, now i know you can hydro lock your engine but i live in NY it rains but there aint puddles that are 5 inches deep at all or nuttin like that. i was just wondering what happenes when it pours outside and im driving will i be okay with it? ALSO J_MAN_Honda i see you also have a auto did you see any gains with the intake headers and exhuast? i wish i could be able to get some more tourque and acceleration.
