If he knows cars well, he'll smell that there is no cat. Cat delete isn't much of an upgrade and the environmental trade-off isn't worth it. Not to mention that it is illegal, to the point that any mechanic caught removing one on a road car gets a minimum $10k fine.
lol i know its illigal on some states...but is it illigal too in Florida?? i just wanna make sure...

there are ways around that........they make o2 cheaters that trick the o2 sensor into thinking there is a cat.

It's a federal mandate issued by the EPA. States have no say, they just get to decide if they are going to check for it at inspection.

Yes and no. On ebay, test pipes are often called "high flow cat's". Most modern OEM cats are already high flow, but there are 2 aftermarket ones that are a higher flow unit. Random technology and I think Magnaflow. Random tech definately ..... but they are pretty pricey.

so would you say that the cat on my 94' accord ex is already a high flow cat? cuz im looking at the OBX high-flow cat...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...061869327&

so this is just a test pipe? or is it actually a high-flow cat too?

if it's not then i would probably and get the higher-flow cat from random technologies..

People on here have had problems with OBX products. Not lasting long type problems. Theres an old motto around here. You get what you pay for.

I looked up OBX's website ..... as expected, they do not make a catalytic converter, yet they do make Cat delete test pipes ...... what would you expect to receive if you order from that ebay guy? Try asking him if his "cat" is 50 state legal.
