I want to upgrade my intake but the price doesn't exactly fit my budget so I talked to a person who customizes neons he said that the main issue is the type of filter and the box its in that holds my car back and if the tubing going to the box is hard enough I can use the stock pipe and just put a performance filter on it after i remove the box and find a way to secure the pipe so its not moving all over the place. Any opinions on if this would work?
