will the 3aRacing universal round tip muffler fit on the 2005 4cyl Honda Accord Coupe? and if so how does it sound?

you can make just about any muffler fit on any car. Its all a matter of welding. As for the sound, i think that one might be comparible to having a coffee can on your exhaust, because that muffler has little to no dampening.

 

so with an intake, stock piping and a muffler my car will sound like a fart machine?

 

Those round straight through mufflers don't cut enough of that raspy "fart" sound. I have an HKS type dual tip muffler and it just sounds mean. Not a bit farty.

I would think a flowmaster would sound good, but I have never had one on a honda.

 

What is the size of your tailpipe? reason I ask is that once you know that then you can by the size muffler that fits your tailpipe...

I dont know the size of the pipe. Its whatever the stock size is. How much should it cost to get it welded on?

 

A guy at Midas quoted me between 75-150 dollars to weld on a performance muffler? Is that a good price? How much did you guys pay to have ur mufflers welded on?

 

I got the muffler welded on today and its not loud at all due to my resonator. It actually sounds pretty nice

 

How much was it and is the improvement from your old muffler noticeable?

 

The muffler was 60 and 75 to get it welded. The only thing noticeable is the sound. Since I still have the stock resonator it doesnt fart at all, its just a deep low tone. It can get a lil raspy at WOT though
