oh ok i try it yesterday, i unplug the neg bat but when i turn on my car the Maintaince light still on why?
i unplug it for around 5 min |

To reset the Maint Req light on a 98-02 do the following: Get in the car, press the trip/reset buttom on the dash at the odometer, turn the key ON but do not crank the car yet. The Maint Req light will go off after you have been holding the trip/reset button down for a few seconds. When the light goes off, crank the car. You're done until the light comes on again in about 7,500 miles or so. Oh Yeah....[sm=icon_rtfm.gif] This is all in the owner's manual as Velocifero said. |

We need to know if you are referring to a "Check Engine" light or a "Service Required"/"Maintenance Required" light. There is a huge difference between the two. |
