Hey guys i'm new to the forum. My question today is, whats the cheapest catback exhaust system I can get for my 92 accord lx? Mine has rusted out from the end of my resonator and lost on the road somewhere. I was looking at oem exhaust parts on rockauto but it seems like some ebay aftermarket catbacks are cheaper.

I'm not really looking to go fast or make noise, I just need something to replace my exhaust. The car is slow and bone stock =)

Any suggestions besides the junkyard?

just get a different brand of muffler then...most cats normally run pipe all the way to the back from the cat converter...hence the name "catback"...i dont have a catback on mine and its pretty nice....that is...until i took the resonator off...its loud now..

all in all...get a different muffler...and dont run straight pipe...want a catback then go Apexi or GReddy or HKS....the brands are endless but those are the only ones id pick from

 

i personally wouldnt go cheapest. u could get a whole setup intalled for 100 bucks if ur dumb. but spend at least a few hundred and the exhaust will last the life of the car. Magnaflow also makes a great product tooo!

 

if you want cheap just get on eBay and hopefully you'll get what you actually order. I'm not bitter. :P
