has anyone seen or heard of this muffler? it is on ebay for a fair price and i wondered if anyone knows about this and if it is worth getting, does it have a deep/quiet type soundlike the ws2 or close to a magnaflow? i like those type of sound of mufflers.

Please specify which of there mufflers your thinking about..OBX has almost 100 kinds of mufflers that they sell, I have their book here in my hands and have sold maybe 40 different mufflers and cat back systems of there's :

Can you give us the link of the auction? That may help us more. OBX and Apexi are 2 different brands. Apexi WS (world sport) is one of their cat back exhausts.

 

type in "obx apex-i muffler accord" on the search block on ebay and its under ebay motors category then it will show you that muffler. i do not know the link auction of it but that is how i sawthe muffler. it looks cool but i am not sure how it would sound.thanks for the reply 19Accord97 i hope you see what i'm seeing and could tell me anything about it. thanks again.

 

Ah, ok. Well I see now!

Basically it is a replica of the Apexi WS muffler by OBX.

The thing that makes me curious though, is that in that picture there is a silencer (although it isnt included in the auction). That makes me think that the muffler may be quite loud unlike the WS. The World Sport exhaust systems are pretty quiet and 100% not ricey at all. So if you are looking for the apexi WS sound then I would say to choose a diff. muffler. Because by no means would you need a silencer on it. I have the WS2 and cant hear it other than start up.

 

thanks for the input 19Accord97, i guess i'll keep on looking for a good deep sound muffler for under $80.same with headers too, preferably ceramic made.budgeting money right now.[&o]

 

Hey I hear you! Parts are $$$. But I dont want to sway you to much, that was just my opinion and no one really knows until you hear it! Good luck! OBX headers are great though!

 

Yep, that looks like a WS replica to me. Its probably built to very similar specs, kind of like the Tsudo N1 and Tsudo Evo 2. Those are both replica exhausts, the N1 is supposedly the exact specs as Apexi's N1, and the Evo 2 is supposedly the exact specs as the Greddy Evo 2.
