possible to install catback without lift?

Hey new to this forum

I tried searching, but couldn't really find a good answer, but is it posisble for me to install a direct bolt on catback system from ebay without using a lift? And will i like no how to do it just by looking under my car and the parts that come with the catback cuz i have nooooooo clue how to install it lol. thanks for the help

you could but you would have a bitch of an annoying time getting it to go in. it took 2 people for me to get the parts in. so no lift or a jack would be a bad choice. lift it or you'll have a bad day of installation

you gotta lift it.otherwise how you going to see where it goes..you hafta place them in the appropriate alignment so you can have the right flow..

it can definatly be done, it just makes the job way more aggrivating and takes like 3 times as long

yeah its aggravating simply because you don't have much room to work with...HEY are you planning on blowtorching them together by the way?so you don't mind being that close to fire

Its pretty simple...

Jack up front of car and put on jackstands, repeat for the rear. Remove 02 sensors, set to the side. Unbolt stock exhaust. Install new exhaust. Done

BCK he's trying to avoid lifting the car though....he basically wants it laying flat on the ground and go under....isn't this right ezra?

i can't even get my head under my car without jacking it up....

there'd be no way I could have installed my cat-back without jacking it up.

He's not gonna install it without lifting the car somehow, its impossible. He HAS to lift it up off the ground somehow.

Even if he just jacked up the front and crawled underneath to pull it off its hangers and unbolt it from the cat that would suffice.
