Is megan racing better than dc sports in headers?

 

In my opinion DC sports are about the best on the market for honda's. Not to mention many of them are CARB certified which is nice for future sale even if it's not required in your state.

 

Look at the price difference.

 

Just buy the cheaper brands if your on a budget. Header will give very little gains no matter what brand you get... I think you can get OBX headers pretty cheap for Accords... I know OBX is the cheapest for 240sx's cause I just ordered some

You'd get a better gain by ripping the 2" exhaust system out and putting in a 2-1/4" one. 2-1/4" has a 26.56% larger cross section and is the best size cat-back for a 4 banger. I'd stick with the OEM manifold if I were you.


EDIT: I can take the extra money off of your hands if you'd like!!!!! The weight reduction could help your lb/HP ratio.

 

I've had both D.C Sport header and now I have a Megan racing header.
I like the megan header better. The DC S header had a slight leak and made a whistling sound when I'm on the gas. It sounded like a Supercharger when I'm on the gas.
At first I thought it was pretty cool, but after a while it got annoying.
Regardless of the throttle position I could hear that whistling sound.

I am in the same delema now, i was going to get dc sport, but heard some bad things about them(runners arent the same size and such). plus i believe they are now owned by pilot, so i lost all respect for them

so i think i am going to get neuspeed ones.

Are you sure it wasn't just a bad gasket???
