Default Resonator

Searched to no avail, but does the driver's side fender well need to be removed to get it out? Its on my 07 accord 4 banger.

Took pretty much the whole intake apart last night and the battery out, and that big a** box still won't come out. Pretty sure the fender well needs to come off. No big deal if need be.

Thanks

Beau

i had to take it out to instal my CAI. and yes the fender does need to come off. its very easy, a few plastic clips on the top and the underside and a few hex nuts to take out. The resinator is held in place by three bolts in the fender.

Ah, now it makes more sense to me. I've got a short ram so the resonator didn't have to be removed.

Thanks Fenix. I'll be taking it out on Wednesday.

Speaking of CAI's, you happy with that Fujita? I just can't justify spending $250 plus on an AEM or more for a V2, when a cheaper CAI will net me similar gains. The rest I'd save can go to Energy Suspension motor mounts or almost a set of Eibach's Pro-Kit springs.

im very happy with my fujita, i actually bought it from someone on here. I was in the same poistion as you, why should i pay so much for a mod that doesnt gain that much HP. So i bought an ebay intake and first off they sent me the wrong one, second it didnt have any hook up for the MAF orair temp gauge. So i would say suck it up and buy a brand name, because atleast if you have problems you can talk to the manufactuer and not some guy in bumble-F nebraska.

As far as my exhaust goes i got it from http://www.eautoworks.com/i ordered it on a monday afternoon and got it on a friday afternoon. It was a bit expensive but ive come around to the idea of paying a little more and getting exactly what i wanted. My mechanic said that it was incredibly easy to put on, mounted right up to the stock cat.

I'll probably end up getting that exhaust if indeed its one of the quietest offered. Don't really mind the price as I know Apexi is good stuff. Had a custom bent 3 inch with an Apexi N1 on my hatch. What's the size of the pipe? 2.25 or 2.5 inches? PM me or post who you got the intake from.

Thanks.

Found the exhaust. If my memory serves me correctly, even though it says coupe it should still fit my sedan, correct?

Took the god awful resonator out last night. What a PITA!!! I ended up sawing the piece that goes under the frame to get it all out. The 10mm bolt closest to the front of the car gaveme the most grief. If I would've had my shallow 10mm instead of my deep 10mm, piece of cake. You can't find em' when you need them. That big chunk of plastic nothing is a huge restriction in the intake.

Just needed to vent b/c I didn't have any beer in my fridge after I got done.
