Default Short Ram intake or Cold Air intake which to go with??

Which would I be better off putting on my 95 Accord EX? A short ram intake or a cold air intake, are there any significant differences that I'll need to worry about or is it just the fact that one is under the hood and one isnt??..

I’m not 100% sure on the 94+ accords if the hole is big enough or not for the CAI. On all the cb7 you have to cut a bigger hole for the pipe to fit into the wheel well.

i dont tink it's as simple as "its just a CAI". Do you live in a rainy area? is your throttle response bad? Is your climate already pretty cool?

these are all reasons to get an SRI. just get a good quality heat shield and it will be 95% as good at a CAI for getting cold are, and 110% better for throttle response.

I like OEM unless your buying a good name brand header. If I had it my way and had cash just lying around I'd run a full Mugen exhaust from header back. But that will run you thousands of dollars.

Also they do make this cool thing called a bypass valve for CAI if you live in rainy areas. I live in Fl and it rains all the time. I’m running a CAI with bypass valve no prob.s what so ever. Also using a short ram your crate really good throttle response but you lose out on a little tq. A good name CAI will increase your tq. little bit as well as your hp. F series have long gears you wanna keep all the tq you can.
