Well mainly it depends on what kind of sound you want! Ricey, deep, quiet....

 

i want more of a deep sound,not really ricey.I dont know much about exhaust but cant decide between tanabe and magnaflow,seems most people on this forum prefer magnaflow

 

Tanabe is a good brand name but I've never heard one personally... someone post a sound clip of their V6 with the magnaflow and it sounded sweet to me the other one to look at is Apexi World Sport (WS) system, if they make it for your car that's a great one.... Some manufacturers have sound clips of their exhaust systems if you ask them...

 

A good place to look for sound clips is streetfire.net, but if you search google or yahoo and use the video tab you can find some there too.

i got the magnaflow exhaust, but tanabe and greddy also make great products so you can't go wrong either way. the reason i went with magnaflow was because it was a quieter exhaust system that the others. Some of my friends have exhaust systems that make their rides sound like trucks (they sound really good, im just not that big a fan of loud exhausts). Even my exhaust gets a little annoying after a while, but im still happy with it. If you're looking for a louder exhaust dont go magnaflow, but if u want something a bit quieter with good tone, get the magnaflow. My cousin has the tanabe (medallion exhaust i think) on his supra, and it sounds really good just fyi.
